Z Construction & Remodeling is a family-owned company based in Auburn, Alabama. After years of hands-on trade experience working on other people's crews, we opened our own doors with a simple idea: the person who quotes your job should be the person who builds it.
That's still how it works. The owner walks every project, sets every schedule and makes every phone call. Our crew is small, skilled and consistent, and our subcontractors are people we've worked beside for years.
We're building this company the way we build houses: slowly, squarely and to last.

Be there when we said. Call if anything changes. Never leave you guessing.

If it doesn't need doing, we say so. If something's wrong behind a wall, you hear it first.
Build it right
Plumb, level, square, waterproofed, to code. The parts you'll never see get the most attention.
Leave it clean
Daily cleanup, dust barriers, respect for the house and the people living in it.

We carry general liability insurance and are licensed for residential work in the State of Alabama. Copies of our license and certificate of insurance are available on request, and we're glad to provide them before you sign anything.
